Participant Voices
“This project has done more for me in 14 weeks than in 11 years of therapy”
“I learnt more during this project than 3 years at university.”
“I feel like I have processed so much that traditional therapy wasn’t able to uncover. By seeing and hearing myself I feel much more comfortable in my own skin.”
“Working with Wondering CIC has reinforced my belief that it is possible to accomplish difficult tasks. Their support and encouragement have shown me that what initially seems daunting can indeed be achieved.”
We have created fundamental therapeutic shifts and encouraged people to return to employment while creating powerful lived experience films which have not only empowered people but also contributed to a wider understanding in the general public around mental health.
Wondering CIC is looking to collaborate with charities, and organisations to further our practise and research into alternative ways to build healthier communities.

How do you do it?
We work with existing organisations and communities using our regenerative model to co-create projects which empower lived experience voices to tell their stories.
Stage One:
We teach people biographical film in a group setting with therapeutic support.
People make a film about their mental health journey.
We show the work in public at community film screenings.
Participants access to flexible employment through our peer support scheme and film commissions.
