"This course helped me to process parts of my past that | had no idea I needed to look at, sometimes I would go home at night and cry because some difficult things had come up. Because Wondering CIC created such a safe environment I felt able to process trauma and experience the empowerment I needed to tell my story and use it to help others. Without this course I wouldn't be doing the work l am today.”

Maisha came through our first therapeutic filmmaking program in 2022. Four years later and Maisha has gone on to make a second film which premiered at the Genesis cinema and has gone on to appear in documentaries and on the BBC and ITV to raise awareness about domestic violence.
